Chemistry and Maths Refresher

This eBook (PDF and ePub) provides a short refresher on key chemistry terms, and some basic maths, of the type you may need in a chemistry or biology lab. 

The chemistry section looks at such key terms as atoms, ions, molecules and how to work out the molecular weight of compounds, along with looking at amounts, volumes and concentrations, and their associated SI units and prefixes.

The maths section looks at scientific notation of numbers and revisits SI unit prefixes and how to deal with them in calculations. A couple of handy 'maths tricks' are revealed, and there is a section on how to draw graphs.

The new version also comes with a handy glossary for scientific and maths terms.
